Jamie Stevens appointed to the Matrix Global Design Team

Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year and UK Matrix Artistic Director Jamie Stevens has been appointed to the highly regarded Matrix Global Design Team. Jamie, whose celeb list includes the likes of Eva Herzigova, Elle Macpherson, Gok Wan, Kylie, Stella McCartney and more, is also much in demand behind the scenes for his inspirational teaching seminars.

Matrix, the number one professional brand in American salons and available in 60 countries worldwide, is part of the L’Oréal Professional Products Division. Offering accessible, inspirational education to stylists and salon owners of all levels and needs is at the heart of Matrix’s values and commitment to hairdressers.

The key team that delivers the Matrix message and educates on a global level is Matrix’s Global Design Team; now an elite group of 15 individuals, seven of who hail from the UK. Jamie joins the likes of Errol Douglas MBE in the Global Design Team, travelling the world educating Matrix, leading hair shows, helping with product development and collaborating on shoots which then become Matrix collection images and are used globally in Matrix salons and on their advertising.

With Jamie’s expertise, he is the perfect addition to the team. Current resident hairdresser on This Morning, Gok’s Clothes RoadShow and How To Look Good Naked, as well as previous winner of Men’s Hairdresser of the Year and nominee for London and Afro Hairdresser of the Year, he’s an all-round hair guru!
