The UK & Ireland Wella Trend Vision Award Finals were held in the Round House in Camden, London, last Monday night and John Geaney's hair salon won first place in the coveted colour category. Johns win now means he goes forward to represent Ireland at the world finals in New York this November where he is a strong contender to take the world title.

John is no stranger to the top level of hair dressing having represented Ireland internationally before, this being the third time he has taken the national title. In 2008 John won 1st place in the IHF National finals in the Colour Category and he won 1st again at the National Trend Vision Colour category in 2008/09.

This cements the salons reputation as the top expert in country when it comes to cut and colour work.

John has been hairdressing since he was 16, and over the years has travelled internationally working and perfecting his skills at some of the top salons around the world before returning to his home city of Cork where along with his partner he opened the city's first boutique salon at 19 Pine Street, in 2004.

John said,

This is very exciting for the salon and is a testament to the skill and professionalism you find here. We strive to offer our clients a world class service at local prices and they love it!

The next step is the Wella Trend Vision World Finals, due to take place the First Week in November in New York against 60 international finalists. A lot of work and preparation is going into getting the look just right, where they hope to do Ireland proud.
