Joseph Koniak, an award-winning artistic director and hair artist, is excited to announce a one-off hair-up course at Wella Professional Studios in London.

Joseph’s career background is second to none, and he’s had the privilege of working in various industries including fashion, film, music, media, press and Red Carpet events for a number of celebrities. Joseph has designed hair for The Clothes Show Live, Pure Spirit, The White Gallery and The National Wedding Show. In addition he has worked on many fashion shows including Vivien Westwood, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani and Mulberry. His film and television credits consists of Harry Potter, Batman, Mama Mia, Skyfall, Dark Shadows, Dancing on Ice, Downton Abbey and Da Vinci’s Demons.

Hair ‘Dressing & Styling’ is Joseph’s passion and he is excited and delighted to be sharing the knowledge he has acquired over his 25 years in the hairdressing industry! The course will provide students with solid techniques in the art of hair-up – producing designs in their own style that is appropriate to the occasion. Hair-up is an asset and a skill to any artist. It can increase your income immensely and give you confidence in all areas of hairdressing including stage work and photographic shoots, not to mention weddings and special occasions.

Level:
Course suitable to hairdressers/make-up artists with a good basic knowledge of hair preparations including tonging, setting and straightening.

Morning session - 2 hair-ups
A step-by-step demo by Joseph Koniak with student practical

Afternoon session - 2 hair-ups

Various up-styles including wedding styles, Red Carpet occasions and use of fitting accessories

Cost:
£300 per person

Please bring equipment including a tail-comb, bristle brush (Mason and Pearson recommended) and sectioning clips. Grips, heated appliances, hair accessories and products supplied by Joseph Koniak. Candidates are encouraged to photograph their achievements. Every effort will be made to supply live models. On completion of the course each candidate will be given a certificate of attendance of ‘Special Occasion Hair Up’.

Joseph Koniak Terms and Conditions
The candidates are expected to arrive ½ hour before the start time to prepare.
The candidates should have some hairdressing skill and an interest in hairdressing.
The candidates should conduct themselves in a way that represents their salon. Rude behaviour will not be tolerated.
When booking a course, should it commence within seven days and then you wish to cancel before the course commences, you will be liable for the full amount and will not be entitled to a refund or be able to move the course to another date.
Please ensure that when attending, you complete the course, as once the course has started it cannot be completed at a later date. You will not be entitled to any refund. If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances a new date may be offered at the discretion of Joseph Koniak Ltd, depending on when your course starts.
Joseph Koniak reserves the right to cancel any course TWO WEEKS prior to the course start date, due to availability. In the unlikely event of a course cancellation you will receive a full refund.
