Killorglin salon awarded Five Star Good Salon Guide rating

Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty in Killorglin has received a Five Star rating from the Good Salon Guide - the only independent, nationwide scheme for assessing professional standards and services within the hairdressing industry.

Listing around 2,000 salons in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, the Good Salon Guide has become the benchmark of quality for the public and hairdressing industry since it was established in 1993.

Sean Taaffe in Killorglin is the only South Kerry salon outside of Killarney to be awarded the Five Star rating. Sean Taaffe’s other salon in Killarney is also accredited with a Five Star rating, firmly cementing the brand as one of Kerry’s best hair & beauty destinations!

A Good Salon Guide rating shows that the salon has suitably trained and qualified staff, top quality products and aims to achieve and maintain the highest standards.

Salons are professionally assessed against objective criteria and rated accordingly. If a hairdressing salon meets a set of minimum standards, it is given Registered status. Thereafter salons are rated as 3, 4 or 5 Star depending on the standards and quality of the salon.
