The Kutz ‘n’ Kurlz salon team are over the moon that their nomination has resulted in the subsequent short listing for The Welsh Salon Team of the Year in the 2015 NHF Welsh Awards. Also, following their nomination, team members Suzanne Wallbank has been shortlisted for Make-Up Artist of the Year, and Laura Lentle shortlisted for Colour Technician of The Year.
The salon team also had members nominated for Stylist of the Year – Stephanie Edwards, Colour Technician of the Year - Sarah Kenward, Newcomer of the Year – Roisin Keogh, Beauty Therapist of the Year – Kelly Edwards, and Donna Wallbank for Lecturer of the Year. Donna Wallbank, salon owner, said,
The team are truly amazing and all deserve to be recognised for their dedication and commitment to our clients, their peers and the salon. As a team we are so pleased to have been shortlisted and we are all over the moon for the individual team members short listing successes. Now we look forward to November 1st and the awards themselves, it is so exciting.
The NHF Welsh Awards, run by the National Hairdressers’ Federation Welsh Region, is one of the highlights of the Welsh hairdressing calendar, attracting the industry’s top talent. The awards have received a record number of nominations across all of the categories, which are showcasing the hair and beauty talent in Wales. NHF Welsh Area President, Mr. Mark Coray, said,

The awards are in their third year and include a range of categories, such as Welsh Hairdresser of the year and Welsh Salon Team of the year. The red carpet event will be held on 1st November at the Angel Hotel in Cardiff.
