LAFHAB Announce Wahl Academy Courses with Simon Shaw and 5ive
Leeds Academy for Hairdressing and Barbering (LAFHAB) is pleased to announce that throughout 2014 they will be hosting Wahl Academy courses with Simon Shaw and members of the Wahl Artistic Team.
Take advantage of the Wahl Academy two-day courses taking place in the North of England, as usually they are held in Herne Bay, Kent. After ten successful years as Artistic Director of Wahl (UK) Ltd, Simon is one of the most popular and highly regarded hairdressers/barbers within the industry. Simon is known for his passionate, innovative and fun approach to hairdressing/ barbering and education.
He takes part in exhibitions, stage shows and seminars at the Wahl Academy. We are lucky enough at LAFHAB to have seen Simon in action first hand after he held a master-class at the academy last year. - LAFHAB
Thursday April 3rd 2014 -- Traditional shaving with Simon Shaw
Shaving is no longer an enigma! On this fantastic insight into men's traditional shaving you will see close-up shaving demo's with traditional methods and new techniques, using hot 'n' cold towels, oils and a hint of aromatherapy. The most commercial shaving course in the UK today! Course includes 'mock' practical session.
Weds & Thurs June 18th & 19th 2014 -- Solid Foundation with Simon Shaw
Over the two days you will see demonstrations and enjoy in-depth practical sessions. This course will give you a solid foundation to understanding and enjoying men's hairdressing - covering layers, graduation, clipper/scissor over comb and hairlines. Ideal for newly qualified hairdressers who want more experience and confidence, as a refresher course for those returning to the business or ladies hairdressers looking to move into barbering. Course includes practical session.
Thursday October 2nd 2014 -- Clipper Design with 5ive
This fantastic one day course is a real treat. From tramlines to dragons, from basic to advanced - there's everything for everybody. An excellent course for creative hairdressers and barbers who want to be able to offer something different to their clientele. This course is one of only a few available in the UK. At some point in your career do this course - it's hot! Three years general experience is recommended, but no experience of design work required. Course includes practical session.
