Lauren Rees of Spirit Hair Team Takes First Place at Salon Cymru

Training for just over six months, Lauren Rees of Spirit Hair Team in Ystrad Mynach, has gone on to take first place at Salon Cymru in the 80s Funk Blow-Dry category.
Lauren joined Spirit Hair Team in August 2012 and is the second apprentice from the salon to have come first place in this competition.
Every year over 500 hairdressing enthusiasts descend on the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff to participate in the most talked about and eagerly anticipated hairdressing and beauty event of the year.
Salon owner Donna Friend commented,
This is the second year one of our apprentices has won in this competition and we couldn’t be more proud of them.
