Share

This month saw over 1,000 salon professional’s travel to the beautiful Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in California to attend Eufora’s Vision Quest.

Attendees from Eufora partner salons across the globe enjoyed two days of inspiring keynote speakers, innovative breakout workshops and daily wellness. The theme was ‘Live Well, Work Well’, which pays homage to Eufora's founding principles - caring for the ‘Whole of You’.

Eufora founders Don and Beth Bewley have always put an emphasis on the wellness of the professional hairdresser, ensuring the products they engage with daily are of the highest quality and performance. This year’s summit expanded on that commitment by giving hairdressers new tools to help them achieve their personal and professional wellness goals. The event featured three celebrity keynote speakers, all touching on vital topics for growth. Attendees were treated to an inspiring talk from award-winning columnist and author, Kindra Hall, on storytelling and how to use it as an effective method for capturing attention and increasing revenue. Next, entrepreneur and speaker Vishen Lakhiani, the founder and CEO of Mindvalley, spoke to the group about company culture and how to work towards achieving the goal of building, “the world’s greatest workplace.” Lastly, nutritionist Kimberly Snyder treated the group to an inspiring talk on nutrition, moderation and balance. The salon professionals were able to participate in various innovative breakouts, daily buzz sessions and wellness and fitness activities. Breakouts featured salon business building topics such as creating a dynamic salon education program, the art of coaching, and the healthy salon culture, along with personal growth and wellness sessions.

The highlight of the weekend was the Eufora cocktail party, ‘Beauty Under the Stars’, where the Eufora Creative Team, led by Creative Director and celebrity stylist, Philip Carreon, put on an amazing runway presentation and live cutting demonstration inspired by the strength of women. Models appeared in early century attire and were then transformed into powerful ReBelle Femme warriors during a full stage production that featured a live opera singer and an acapella group with hair and wardrobe that reinforced the celestial mood. Beth Bewley, cofounder of Eufora International said,

The weekend was our biggest conference to date, which reiterates the fact that salon professionals are not just craving creative and technical cutting education, but are also looking for business and wellness education – topics that have always been important to us at Eufora. We know that to be successful behind the chair, and as a salon owner, it means more than just doing great hair. Stylists need to know how to take care of themselves both financially through their business skills and personally through their own wellness.

Val Hunt, co-owner of Pure Hair in Lightwater, Surrey said,

This year was my first Vision Quest Experience, I knew it would be amazing as all Eufora events are! The speakers were some of the best I have ever heard, and the content was invaluable! The Beauty Under the Stars show showcased some amazing talent and was delivered to such an impeccable standard. Vision Quest was all about the Eufora culture, passion and putting ‘the hairdresser first’. Thank you Eufora, I cannot wait for the next one!

Jill Hunter, owner at Hunters Hair Specialists added,
