Meet the New LEAP Ahead Team Members

Schwarzkopf Professional’s training programme LEAP Ahead is now into its second year, and with a new year comes a brand new team of talented and passionate hairdressers who are ready to take their next career step and get ahead of the rest.

The five winners were selected after submitting online entry forms where they sold themselves and their passion for hairdressing. Successful applicants were then invited to an interview at the London ASK Academy to introduce themselves to a panel of independent industry judges and win them over face-to-face.

The LEAP Ahead programme is designed for stylists aged between 25-35 who are no longer eligible to enter into the Schwarzkopf Professional YAT team or be considered for the Fellowship’s F.A.M.E or ClubStar teams. For someone entering the industry a little later who has not had the advantage of being in a young training programme or even who have already graduated from the YAT, F.A.M.E or ClubStar teams, the LEAP Ahead team is the perfect next step.

The 2015/16 LEAP Ahead team can look forward to exciting opportunities such as their very own photo shoot, training from Schwarzkopf’s renown ambassadors, invitations to industry events, introductions to key hairdressing press and a wealth of educating sessions. They will be led for the year by LEAP Ahead team managers, Jamie Farrar and Catherine Adams. Jamie says,

The 2015/16 LEAP Ahead team are a highly talented mix of hairdressers, all bringing their own unique talents and skills to the table. They have a superb year ahead of them working with some of the industry’s icons and of course, their very own photo shoot which will be a culmination of all the years learning put into action.
