milk_shake Announces Pop-up Salon at Glastonbury and Cornbury

Glastonbury regular, milk_shake is expanding its festival pop-up salon for 2016 to include men’s grooming and make-up, and has added Cornbury to its summer festival line-up.

The brand has teamed up with the Pop-Up Hotel & Motel to offer guests a luxury pampering experience on-site, including decadent hair washes with delicious smelling, salon professional products.

Milk_shake Brand Ambassador and festival hair expert Shelley Pengilly has devised a menu of must-have colour, beautiful braids, weekend long blow-dries and quirky quiffs - Louise Redknapp is among those who’ve already booked their appointment.

Services include:

Blow-dry £30 (motel) / £35 (hotel) - 30 mins

Hour styling session £65-£70/60 mins - Anything goes in this freestyle session; the team will incorporate clip-in extensions, accessories or any other finishing touch to match an outfit.

Hair-up/Dry Styling £35-£40/30 mins - Choose from:

• Boho Braids - Fuss-free festival style. The longest lasting look, the braid can see out the week - starting off sleek, and then gradually loosening to enhance its boho appeal.
• Classic Fishtail - Pretty AND practical, the classic fishtail is a tried and tested festival look.
• Flower Power – A twisty floral up-do.
• Festival Goddess - Quintessential festival look, with or without flowers.
• Pin & Go - For the rock chick at heart, team this messy pinned style with a dark lip and winged liner.
• Colourful Clip Hair Band - Cute Kirby grip hair band

Colour Bar £10-£15/30 mins - Choose from Arctic Fox, Parma Violet or Peaches & Cream or mix and match different shades. The looks are created using milk_shake Direct Colour shades, which work best with blonde, highlighted, or ombre’d hair. No permanent colouring will be done during the festival so hair should be lightened beforehand.
