MyDentity with Guy Tang at Salon International 2018

Guy Tang, cult LA colourist and hair activist, is set to make his debut at Salon International, taking to the Salon Live stage on Sunday 14th October.

Guy Tang created a social media dynasty by inspiring other stylists, just like him, to make a difference and change the world doing hair. Guy introduced his own unique style into the industry by providing education through hair art on his YouTube channel, Instagram and Facebook platforms. Through these platforms, Guy empowered his #hairbestie family to bring fun and excitement back into the industry.

Guy Tang created #mydentity because he wanted to customize colours we all dream of - colours that are missing from today’s hair colour. He wanted to create a line that brings back the fun and excitement in our industry. But most of all, he wanted to create a community that empowers our #hairbestie family and enables all of us to find our #mydentity - because when you know who you are, you have the courage to do anything you dream of.

Growing up, I struggled every day with my identity. I didn’t know who I was, what I wanted to do in life, or what my purpose was. It wasn’t until hair that I found my purpose, my direction - and it truly saved my life. – Guy Tang
