Nathan Walker, International Technical Director and Head of Technical Education, is currently celebrating his 20th year at Trevor Sorbie. Nathan joined the salon aged 17 and has become one of the hottest technical talents in British hairdressing over the past two decades. There’s literally nothing about the salon’s philosophy, techniques or background that Nathan doesn’t know.
Nathan said of his role at Trevor Sorbie,
I see myself as someone who spans many areas of our business, from creative to educational and from business to product development. I enjoy the fact that my insights into the facets of our industry are utilised by the company and that keeps my role interesting and means I’m never bored! What can I say, I’ve worked here for longer than I haven’t.
Nathan is also an ambassador for Kerastraight and regularly judges at events such as the L’Oréal Professionel Colour Trophy.
Loyalty is a word that’s rarely used these days but in the case of Nathan Walker, it fits perfectly. Being employed by me (or any one company) for 20 years these days is a rare event. Nathan started as an assistant and he is now International Technical Director for Trevor Sorbie; that’s loyalty.
