Sunday 28th February saw session stylist Nelson Brown make his guest appearance at Pro Hair Live in Manchester, where he used a range of Babyliss Pro tools to recreate the hottest looks from London Fashion Week.
To begin Nelson recreated key looks from stylist James Pecis for the Simone Rocha show – using the Babyliss Pro Curling Tong to achieve a bump to the hair. Simone’s collection was delicate and feminine with tailored trousers worn underneath pretty dresses.
Another one of Nelson’s looks was taken from his time assisting Syd Hayes for designer Fyodor Golan’s A/W 16 show. Using a Babyliss dryer and diffuser, Nelson created a wet/dry texture in the hair to compliment the retro, late 60s vibe of Fyodor’s collection. The diffuser helped to shape a bend to the hair without creating a curl or a wave - the diffuser is every session stylist’s secret weapon backstage!
A regular at London Fashion Week, Nelson loves gaining inspiration from assisting at the shows every year, and was honoured to be asked by Babyliss Pro to share his knowledge and love of hair to other hairdressers at Pro Hair Live 2016.
