NI Hairdresser of the Year Continues Success as Finalist in Irish Hairdressing Business Awards

Newtownards based hairdresser and Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year, Sharon Malcolm, proprietor of Sharon Malcolm Hairdressing, has just been announced as a finalist in five categories of the prestigious Schwarzkopf Irish Hairdressing Business (IHB) Awards.

Crowned Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year 2014 at the British Hairdressing Awards in November, Sharon’s success has continued with a five strong short listing, which includes the salon being named as a finalist in the following categories: Customer Care, Retail Salon of the Year, Marketing Salon of the Year, Reception/Front of House of the Year and Ulster Salon of the Year.

Speaking on the salon’s five nominations, Sharon Malcolm adds,

The Schwarzkopf Irish Hairdressing Business Awards are about acknowledging salons, not as just hairdressers, but as businesses.

To be named as a finalist in five different award categories is an incredible feat for the salon and it’s a huge honour. It’s so rewarding to know that the hard work that goes into running the salon as a business is recognised and rewarded in the industry, and we wish all of the finalists well for the awards.

The Schwarzkopf Irish Hairdressing Business awards will take place at the RDS in Dublin on Sunday 29th March and will see the best businesses in Irish hairdressing compete across a range of categories.

Sharon Malcolm Hairdressing is open from 9am – 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. The salon is open late on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9am – 9pm, and on Saturdays from 9am – 5pm.
