Non-Stop Success for Sharni White

Sharni White of Soul Urban Style in Retford has been reaping the rewards for all her hard work, winning award nominations, finalist positions, training courses and industry recognition.

Most recently Sharni was nominated in Coloursoft’s The ONE Awards, where she finalized alongside ten other salons from around the UK. Although she didn’t win this time round, Sharni did take the top spot in the ‘Media Award’, where she walked away with a signed personalised book on the life of Toni Mascolo, cofounder of the Toni & Guy group.

Guest of honour and international stylist, Errol Douglas was also present at The ONE, where impressed with Sharni’s talents he has nominated her to become a part of The Fellowship. Not only catching the eye of Errol, but also The ONE host Chris Foster also singled out Sharni’s work to be shared online. Speaking of the night, Sharni said,

The ONE Award was a great learning curve for me, and I also received some amazing feedback. One of the biggest bonuses for me was that I got to meet Errol Douglas, and he nominated me to become part of The Fellowship, which has been a big want for me for a few years.

I also got to meet the fabulous Ann Herman, and of course I got a selfie with her! Afterwards Chris Foster, the host, posted a picture of my hair model and shared it online, which was great as it was the only model he singled out to share. So all in all it was a huge success!
