ghd salons are well underway encouraging clients to ‘chop to their chin’ – cutting off their long locks to provide The Little Princess Trust with the real hair required to create wigs for those in need.
With only one day to go until the official chop to your chin nationwide charity day, ghd salons are preparing their stylists and salons for a day of chopping! Thanks to the new three looks by ghd global ambassador Adam Reed including the Luxe Lob, Textured Bob and Wavy Chop, clients are equipped for their new style.
The campaign runs from August through to October and since it’s launch, The Little Princess Trust has received 171 donations from ghd salons, accumulating to over 1,000 inches of hair! Jo Robertson, ghd global head of education said,
We’re delighted with the progress that our ghd salons across the country have made so far! Real hair wigs are costly, but make a world of difference to young people who are living with serious illness. We’re thrilled that we can help salons get clients through the door to make such a valuable donation whilst showcasing how versatile short hair can be. With 171 donations already we can’t wait to see what our salons deliver on the 21st… roll on Thursday!
ghd has long supported cancer charities through the sale of their limited edition pink styling tools, raising more than £10million to date across the globe. Their support to the Little Princess Trust furthers their charity endeavours and unites ghd salons across the country.
