Paul Edmonds Style Emily Berrington, Eleanor Tomlinson and Alexa Davis for BAFTA Craft Awards

The Paul Edmonds team worked with some of the best in British rising talent this weekend as they styled Emily Berrington, Eleanor Tomlinson and Alexa Davis for the BAFTA Craft Awards red carpet.

Emily, Eleanor and Alexa had their hair expertly styled and nails manicured by James O’Neill, Polly Miteva and Aphrodite Paphitis from Paul Edmonds London. Paul Edmonds’ work with the girls at the BAFTA Craft Awards is fitting for Paul and his team, as the awards celebrate the very best in behind the scenes talent in British television.

For Hair

Alexa Davis’ hair was prepped using Shu Uemura Wonder Worker before blow-drying and then tonging – added texture was given using Shu Uemura Texture Wave. Hair was then braided on one side and pinned back loosely, bringing the un-braided side to the back also. To keep the look undone with a natural texture, the front was parted with waves to the side, and Sheer Lacquer Finishing Spray by Shu Uemura was applied for hold.

Emily Berrington’s hair was prepped using Shu Uemura Colour Lustre Thermo-Milk heat protection. The hair was tonged all over and then brushed out, giving volume and a sexy curl.  The hair was then parted at the side and a plait was created across the front going round the back of the head. Again from the side parting, a plait was created to meet the plait at the back with both secured into a plait knot. Shu Uemura Detail Master was sprayed over the plaits to capture any fly-away hair and add shine. Shu Uemura Touch of Gloss was applied on the hairline to make the hair look effortlessly sleek.

For Hands

Aphrodite used Essie Fiji for Alexa, a baby pink shade to match her blue dress. Emily’s nails were painted with Essie Bordeaux, a rich burgundy colour to compliment her pink dress. Topless & Barefoot by Essie was applied to Eleanor’s nails, which is a nude shade to contrast her black dress. All of the girls’ hands were moisturised with Eminence Organics Apricot Oil, high in antioxidants and grape seed to hydrate and remove lines.
