Paul Phillips is Crowned Silver Young Talent Winner at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award

Paul Phillips from Chopp in Westcliff-on-Sea has been awarded one of the highest hairdressing accolades in the UK and Ireland, winning the UK Silver Award in the ‘Young Talent’ category on Monday 6th October at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final 2014 – one of the world’s most prestigious annual hairdressing competitions.

Celebrating ten years of award-winning creativity and talent, the TrendVision Awards sees hundreds of hairdressers being part of this event hosted by Jo Whiley.

Paul competed against hundreds of stylists from across the UK & Ireland at the Regional Heats earlier this year, securing his position at the final, held at the prestigious Roundhouse in London’s Camden.

The next step for Paul is to take the Amazing Mentoring programme provided by Wella. He will learn from Bruce Masefield of Sassoon Academy. Talking about the awards, Sheila Jackson, Wella’s Education and Event Manager said,
