The Color Run, also known as the 'happiest 5k on the planet', is a unique colour race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality and giving back to the community.
The Color Run is a five-kilometer, untimed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colours at each kilometer. The fun continues at the finish line with a gigantic 'Color Festival', using more coloured powder to create happiness and lasting memories, not to mention millions of vivid colour combinations. Trust us, this is the best post-5k party on the planet!
On Sunday 1st June, the staff at Phoenix Hair and The Nail Boutique participated in the Color Run in London, and to date has raised £341.00 and is still raising more all in aid of Save the Children.
What we wanted to do was raise money and awareness about Save the Children, whilst having an amazing experience. It was such a fun filled packed day, from the train ride down to London to the festival after. After completing the Color Run, we have all said that we would definitely do this again, as it was such an amazing experience to help Save the Children, even in just a small way.
