With the release of her second album set to make a storm later this year, pop sensation Pixie Lott had an image overhaul to go alongside her new sound, and award-winning hairdressing group HOB Salons were on hand to cut off the Lott!

Since the beginning of her career, Pixie has been renowned for her long blonde locks and bohemian style, but now at 20 years old, Miss Lott was ready for an image shake-up and 2008 and 2009 British Hairdresser of the Year, Akin Konizi was the man for the job.

Ahead of Pixie’s restyle that took place on the 6th June, Pixie and Akin spoke in depth about her new look ahead of her new 70s-inspired cut. Akin commented,

We wanted to create a look that incorporated lots of texture and movement to deliver a bardot-esque finish. Teamed with a centre parting and longer length through the front, this look is very tousled and embraces Pixie’s boho feel whilst complementing her stylish image.

Alongside her new cutting-edge style, current British Colour Technician of the Year and HOB’s Creative Colour Director, Christel Lundqvist complemented her new chop with a spring/summer-inspired vintage blonde hue.

Following her new look, Pixie took to Twitter:

Thank you @HOBSALONS for my new haircut :D agaga!

As she now gets set for the release of her new single All About Tonight, Pixie continues to be seen here, there and everywhere with her new on-trend locks.
