It doesn't matter if you haven't played netball since school or you play every week - this competition is suitable for all skill levels. It's about getting together with friends, family and colleagues; having fun on the court and raising money to support women and teenagers living with cancer.
Many LGFB supporters and beneficiaries are keen netball players and this is a great opportunity to offer a fundraising event that is slightly different to your usual walk or run.
Jodie Pullinger, LGFB Beneficiary and a keen netball player explains why she's getting involved with the tournament,
I get to play a sport that I'm passionate about, whilst raising money for a charity that really helped me whilst I was having cancer treatment. The Look Good Feel Better Workshop made me feel more feminine and human again, boosting my confidence no end and I have used netball to help in my recovery, post treatment. Whether you've played before or fancy trying a completely new sport, I encourage everyone to take part and support this fantastic charity so that they can help more women like me.
Off-court there's plenty to keep players and spectators occupied. In the specially created Beauty Playground you'll have the opportunity to test your netball skills, receive a variety of beauty treatments or even have a coaching session with professional players.
