For the full month of October, the team at the Rainbow Room International Royal Exchange Square salon are going pink for breast cancer awareness month and to raise money for Breast Cancer UK.

In order to raise money for Breast Cancer UK, the Royal Exchange Square salon will be offering clients to get a slice of pink in their hair in exchange for a donation. This can be done during the clients colour appointment and without having to book in for any additional time at the salon for the added service, as the colour can be applied as they are waiting for the rest of their colour to process. Clients also do not need a skin test for this, as the salon will use bleach followed by a pink toner on top to create the slice of pink in the clients area of choice. Colour will be easily mixed up in front of clients for them to see and the client can choose how bold or subtle they want their pink hue to be. The beauty team within the salon will also be getting involved and are offering clients a choice of beautiful pink nail shades to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The Royal Exchange Square team will be wearing pink throughout the month and will be providing pink masks for clients to wear during their appointment in-salon as an added extra pink touch. Pink balloons have also been purchased to decorate the salon and to give it a further touch of pink.

The go pink month has been put together by the Royal Exchange team not only to raise awareness of an important cause and to raise money for a fantastic charity but also to create a positive energy at this uncertain time and a bit of fun in the salon for the team and clients, with all COVID measures still remaining in place at all times for staff and client safety. For clients this will allow them to give their hair look a quirky and fun update for the new season that will blend out beautifully and will help to put a smile on their face during these tough times.

David Nicolson, Owner of the Royal Exchange Salon, commented:

We’re all excited for the month of October and to offer our clients a slice of pink to raise money for Breast Cancer UK and to raise awareness for breast cancer. It’s nice to offer something different to our clients and also to raise awareness for a great cause at the same time. All of the team are excited to be involved and it’s really raised spirits in the salon for the team, as well as clients.
