Ross Charles Named as a Finalist at the British Hairdressing Awards

Now in its fourth decade, the British Hairdressing Awards hosted by Hairdressers Journal International has been supported since its inception by Schwarzkopf Professional.

To be a finalist is quite something; it takes a standout salon, a phenomenal creative talent and commitment to reach these final stages. The top hairdressers for 2020 have been named and Ross Charles is one of just six finalists for North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year. The overall winner for this hotly contested category will be announced at the first virtual ceremony on the 30th November 2020.

2020 will see the awards virtual ceremony for the first time in its 36-year history. As the prospect of ‘live’ events continues to be shrouded with uncertainty, the event will take place virtually on Monday 30th November 2020 in the style of the world’s biggest events in 2020.

It was a monumental moment for the salon to be announced as one of just six finalists. Ross knows this feeling well as he has previously finalised for Men’s Hairdresser of the Year and North Eastern Hairdresser too. Ross Charles commented,

To be announced as a finalist is an incredible feeling - to be considered amongst the best in the industry is simply outstanding and it is an honour to be recognised for my work. I hope my next set of images is just as strong and it’s my name that’s called out virtually on the night!
