Schwarzkopf Professional’s Young Artistic Team style Middlesex University’s Fashion Show

Share

Schwarzkopf Professional’s talented Young Artistic Team joined the hustle and bustle of backstage life recently to style 24 models for fashion students at the Middlesex University’s end of year fashion show in Soho, London.

Held at a quirky, industrial style venue called The Vinyl Factory, the show was a chance for the university students to present their fashion design work to peers, lecturers and university staff. The hair brief for the Young Artistic Team was a sleek and slicked wet look style at the front, with beach waves at the back, inspired by Jonathan Saunders’ 2005 Ready-to-Wear collection. It was a fast paced and high-pressure day, with the team working flat out to create the desired hair looks in time for the runway shows, gelling together as a team to help one another and keep morale high.

Mentors and Schwarzkopf Professional Technical Advisors Catherine Adams and Jamie Farrar were extremely impressed with the team’s work. They said,

The team were incredible! They all worked fantastically together and were so professional. The pressure was on with tight prep deadlines and working around rehearsals, but the team took it all in their stride and created some beautiful hair.

Team member Bevan Scott from Hooker & Young said,

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Middlesex University - the team made it a really fun day. It was an amazing opportunity and I am proud to have been a part of it!
