Scotland UNITE!

At the beginning of this month the hairdressers of Scotland came together to unite and celebrate a world of creativity and talent.

Hosted by Joe Coubrough, Hair and Beauty World, stylists James Hughes-Horn, Hayley Edwards and Ralph Yates put on a fabulous evening showcasing seven models, including one gent, live on stage in Glasgow.

James and his salon stylists, Hayley and Ralph, spent the day in the James Horn salon prepping the models with colour and practising the styling before heading over to Lola’s, a nightclub in Glasgow, the perfect venue for the fresh, fashion-forward brand.

Creating editorial looks, the James Horn team demonstrated the versatility of Unite products on different hair types and length, including men’s.

This industry event was for hairdressers to share their knowledge with other hairdressers, and both existing Unite salons were there to learn new techniques and share their own tips and tricks, as well as potential new Unite customers, said Tracey Charlton, Unite Brand Manager. The atmosphere was relaxed and professional yet interactive, as the audience were able to touch, feel and see the hair as we walked models through the audience.
