Sean Taaffe Scoops 1st Place In The ALFAPARF Fantastic Hairdresser Awards 2013

ALFAPARF Milano, the internationally renowned Italian luxury hair product company, declared Sean Taaffe the ALFAPARF Most Fantastic Hairdresser in Ireland at the 2013 Awards held at the Silver Springs Moran Hotel, Tivoli, Cork on Sunday November 3rd.

The Sean Taaffe Group scooped three other major awards on the evening including 2nd place in the Fantastic Salon of the Year, awarded to the Sean Taaffe Salon in Killarney, 2nd place for stylist Marta Plechowska in the Long Hair Stylist category and 3rd place also to Marta in the Fantasy category.

The Awards, now in their fourth year, give stylists and salons an opportunity to show their creative expertise and technical excellence through six artistic and two business awards. Acclaimed stylist and designer, Brendan Courtney, presented the artistic awards and co-hosted the event with Alan Austin-Smith, founder of The Fantastic Hairdresser Company, who presented the two business awards. Each winner was presented with an Irish designed and handcrafted stained glass trophy.

The high-flying international judging panel comprised of: Richard Ashforth - International Creative Director of SACO, Desmond Murray - award-winning stylist and photographer, Vivica Davie - Colour Director for ALFAPARF Milano, Roberta Artó - ALFAPARF Milano Research & Development Technician and Fiona Connolly - Manager of the Year winner at the British Hairdressing Business Awards.
