Sens.Us Inspires Europe

Share

Sens.Us got 2018 off to a creative start with two inspirational events hosted in Italy and the UK. The shows included presentations by their creative team and ambassadors, collection reveals and the launch of new products, as well as the chance for salons to network, get inspired and learn more about the range.

The first Inspiration event took place at the luxurious Sheraton Parco de Medici in Rome; a short distance from the Tuscan valleys along the River Tiber where Sens.Us is made, using local, naturally-occurring ingredients. The two-day showcase kicked off with the launch of the new MC2 colour range. This vegan and eco-friendly permanent hair colour is enriched with locally grown and Ecocert-approved quinoa and acai berries, to restore the hair while ensuring maximum coverage, shine, softness and durability.

Once the audience had been introduced to the new range, it was time to see it in action with the presentation of the new Sens.Us ‘White Collection’, as created by artistic director Luigi Martini and the brand’s art team.

The White Collection represents the excitement of something simple, the naturalness of love and self-confidence. It’s about making the emotion of your work the center of everything. - Luigi Martini

Combining short shapes, bold-but-beautiful shades and 80s and 90s inspiration, the show featured wearable looks and client-friendly colours to take back to the salon and reinterpret. The second day started with a hands-on workshop to show salons how to do just that. Luigi and the art team demonstrated the techniques used in the White Collection, before stylists were able to get creative and try out the latest shapes and shades for themselves.

Leanne Potts, salon owner at Cuckoo Hair in Heathfield, Kent says,

It was fantastic to see the new collection launched. The hands-on workshop was really inspirational, and of the four cuts we learnt, I’ve already applied one in the salon and I have another one lined up. The new MC2 range looks really exciting and I’m heading back to Italy in five weeks to have my training, so I can’t wait to get using it in the salon.

The UK Inspiration events took place in Birmingham and Canterbury and gave stylists the chance to see a presentation by UK brand ambassador, Jude Rizzo. Along with her team, Jude presented the Sens.Us Humanz collection to sell-out audiences.

This strong, sexy series of looks is all about female power and dark romanticism, with hair looks that contrast gentle, feminine textures with androgynous cuts and colours. After Jude showcased the look on models, it was over to the stylists in attendance to get hands on and learn the cuts and colours for themselves, ready to take back to the salon and empower their own warrior clients.
