Freddie has worked at various salons in the North Laine area over the last eight years including Headmasters and Square Roots, but is joining Simon Webster Hair on a part-time basis to run alongside her successful session-styling career.
Freddie says,
I am German originally and came to England from Belgium having finished my schooling there. I started my apprenticeship at a salon in North Laine at 18 and have been in the industry for over eight years now, still learning and growing with it.
I love the day-to-day spontaneity and variety of salon work, working with clients to find great looks for them. I take a lot of inspiration from my work in the fashion industry and am more likely to pull out a Pinterest board to brainstorm ideas with a client, than to flick through a hair magazine, as I find this a more cohesive and current approach.
Offering styling, cutting and colouring, my greatest strengths lie in creative colouring and men’s cutting and clipper-work, but most of all I pride myself in creating manageable, bespoke looks to suit the individual.
Find Freddie in-salon Monday and Wednesday 10am - 6pm, plus Tuesday 12pm - 8pm.
