Simon Webster Hair's Patrick & Yonick; L’Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Finalists 2016

Share

Every year the Simon Webster Hair (SWH) Team enter the L’Oreal Colour Trophy; a national awards’ competition that sees thousands of salons from across the UK compete for four of the most prestigious titles in the hairdressing industry.

And each year that they have entered, the SWH Team have demonstrated their skilful styling and awareness of current colour trends to qualify for and excel in the Regional Finals.

Within 12 months of opening their salon doors, SWH Team was recognised at the Grand Finals in the Men’s Image Award (2013), Young Colourist Award (2013) and won the Mizani Afro Look Award (2016)…An incredible achievement for an independent, local salon team that only came together in 2012.

Simon Webster Hair has surpassed what anyone could have reasonably dreamed of in only four years and firmly planted itself amongst the best in the industry. The salon is proud of its local routes, forward-thinking ethos and international collective of stylists, and cite this as the key to their success.

For 2016, they set their sights on the most coveted title within the competition and the only category still eluding them in their Grand Final quartet;

The Colour Trophy itself.

It proved to be their most challenging entry yet and with less than 48 hours left it looked like they may have to withdraw. But with a new model, a new look and a new outfit, they proved that the combination of teamwork, determination, passion and talent is a winning one...And were one of the four salons chosen to progress to the Grand Finals to be held at the O2 Arena in June!

The winning team: Patrick Matthews (Colourist), Yonick Filopoulos (Cut and Styling), Xoe Kinglsey (MUA), Pollie Sortain (Model, courtesy of MK Model Management), John Moore (jewellery), Simon and Sophie Webster (Styling).

On to the Grand Finals 2016! The countdown has begun.
