SJ Forbes Give Back to their Local Community

Hair by SJ Forbes, the award-winning, independent hairdressing salon in Egham, Surrey, has recently embarked on a campaign to give back to the local community.

The first part of the campaign saw seven members of the SJ Forbes team donate blood to the NHS Blood and Transplant Service to assist with its lifesaving work.

Over 6,000 blood donations are needed every day to treat patients in need across England, and many people would not be alive today if donors had not generously given their blood.

The SJ Forbes Give Back to the Community Campaign will see all members of the salon team dedicate at least a day a month to support the local community and charitable causes. This will either be volunteer work, raising money for those in need, supporting local businesses and individuals, and showing gratitude to their customers.

Hayley Gibson-Forbes, Co-Director of SJ Forbes said:

We believe that as a business we have a responsibility to support our local community and charitable causes as much as we can. Since we opened the doors to SJ Forbes in 2015 we have really encouraged our team to come up with new ways of how we can help give back to the local community. We have launched this campaign to ensure that we take time out of our busy schedules each month and continue with this great work.
