Spirit Hair Company Host Annual Conference 2014
On Monday 3rd February Spirit Hair Company held their annual ‘conference’ at De Vere Hotel Uplands in Buckinghamshire, hosted by salon owners Lauren Turner and Mikaela Martin.
Celebrating their achievements of 2013, including winning the coveted British Hairdressing Business Awards, the team were treated to a day full of motivation and education with special guests Alastair J Gourley from Pickle PR and Tim Fluin of Goldwell.
The grand finale of the conference was the much anticipated Spirit Hair Company Awards which recognise key team members. The winners were announced as:
- Star of the Year - Serena West
- Retailer of the Year - Bobbie Garside
- Colourist of the Year - Gemma Munro
- Junior of the Year - Danni Howland
- Stylist of the Year - Bobbie Garside
Recognising commitment, team members who have been with the salon for five, ten and 20 years were also honored.
Salon co-owner Mikaela Martin said,
Our annual conference is always filled with motivation and inspiration, and rewarding the team for their continued hard work is our pleasure.
The conference ended with open discussions over a three-course meal and drinks before the team members departed for the evening.
