A hairdressing salon in Ystrad Mynach has been recognised by award-winning ISA Training with a Working Partnership Gold Award.
Spirit Hair Team have worked with ISA Training for ten years and over this time have trained 19 hairdressing apprentices, many of whom have gone on to achieve additional qualifications in Customer Service, Barbering and Management with the company.
Key to this partnership are salon owners Donna Friend and Janine O’ Callaghan, who work with Training Consultants from ISA Training to ensure that all of their apprentices are trained to the highest standards.
It is an honour to be recognised by ISA Training. Awards like these keep the enthusiasm going in the business; our team realise they belong to something special.
We have always taken pride in training and developing our staff and we were delighted to be recognised as a finalist in the 2013 Apprenticeship Awards Cymru for the work we do here at the salon.
ISA's Managing Director Berni Tyler said,
The working Partnership Gold Award recognises salons who we have worked with for over ten years and who have continuously shown commitment to developing their staff. The joint commitment shown by Spirit Hair Team and ISA’s trainers has given every apprentice the opportunity to make a successful career for themselves in this rewarding and vibrant profession.
