Sussex Salon Awards 2018
On Sunday 28th October, salons, stylists and freelancers from the hairdressing industry in the Sussex region headed down to the coast to the Hilton Metropole in Brighton for the anticipated award announcements.
The Sussex Salon Awards are sponsored by a huge range of leading industry brands including professional hair extension experts Great Lengths and colour and care giants TIGI and TIGI Bed Head. Judges for the 14 categories included President of The Fellowship for British Hairdressing, Karine Jackson, Affinage Global Ambassador Tracey Devine-Smith and award-winning business guru David Drew who was on hand for the evening to congratulate the winners.
Hosted by Salon Awards Founder and Director Kate Jeffery who was accompanied by the evening’s entertainment who also co-hosted, popular comedian and radio host Glenn Moore.

The Sussex Salon awards have been pretty amazing. From the entry stage to the awards ceremony, the passion these hairdressers have for the industry they work in is really great to see. It reminded me why we created the awards in the first place which was to reward the talented salons and individuals and help them and their businesses to shine in the area they’re working in. From the judges and I, a huge congratulations to all the finalists and the winners.
