SWH Team Colour Specialist, Patrick Matthews, Launches His First Collection

Back in June, Simon Webster Hair (SWH) proudly announced that our SWH Team Colour Specialist, Patrick Matthews, had reached the finals of the UK L’Oreal Hairdressing Awards 2015 for his Afro-look entry.

Patrick’s stunning copper asymmetrical cut stole the show, so it was no surprise when he walked away with the Mizani Afro Look Winner’s Award 2015.

Since his win earlier this year, Patrick’s been busy between his work in-salon, travelling Europe with the L’Oreal Art Team and styling on-stage at industry events around the UK. Somehow he also managed to find the time to shoot his first collection and it has been released to widespread acclaim.

Both Pride magazine and Black Hair & Beauty magazine featured the collection in their December issues, and Mizani are using the images for their current promotional campaign. Patrick was assisted on the collection shoot by Simon Webster and Hannah de Frateschi, both also Simon Webster Hair.

It marked the end of what was a very successful year for both Patrick and our salon team – bring on 2016!
