No stranger to backstage styling, HOB Salons and home of British Hairdresser of the Year, Akin Konizi, was called upon this month to style the cast of New Talent Spotlight’s latest production ‘From Stage And Screen… And Back Again!’

Regulars at London Fashion week, the renowned HOB Team, will be on hand to style all six cast members on the big night at the Leicester Square Theatre alongside International make-up group MAC for Russell Scott’s Management and Production Company which produces New Talent Spotlight to find, develop and give opportunity to emerging musical theatre professionals.

Set to be held on Sunday 23rd September 2012 at 7.30pm at the infamous Leicester Square Theatre in London’s West End, the production will be in aid of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN). The RHN is a national medical charity which is dedicated to the rehabilitation and long term care of people with acquired brain injury or neuro-degenerative disease.

Featuring an amazing line-up of rising Musical Theatre stars including Charlotte De Paeztron, Eleanor Sandars, Denise Medley-Scott, Rob Eyles and Danny Lane, HOB Salons will cater to the backstage demands of the hairstyling for Russell Scott’s production.

The show will see guests indulge in the music and lyrics of some of the greatest stage and screen writers, with narration by TV and Radio Presenter, Michael Kurn, as well as featuring a live band and The West End Gospel Choir.

Speaking on the event HOB Salons Senior stylist Jake Unger said,

We work backstage at Fashion shows across the globe throughout the year so to be working at the Leicester Square Theatre is something slightly different and exciting for us. Especially when we know the show is for such a good cause its always humbling to use our skills to help others. Myself and Fergal are looking forward to the big night.
