The ClubStar Art Team Get a Lesson in Sebastian Professional with Richard Windle and Joseph Ferraro

On Monday the 24th of August, ClubStar Art Team members were treated to a workshop with Sebastian Professional’s Richard Windle and their very own mentor Joseph Ferraro to help them get to grips with the Sebastian Professional way of hairdressing.

The day began with a short and brief history on the Sebastian Professional ethos, how the razor blade came about and how it is used to create different haircuts. Both Richard and Joseph then took to the floor and gave demonstrations on two different razored haircuts and also showcased an array of different cutting techniques to inform and inspire the team before they began their cutting workshop.

The team were given time to practice the techniques and then to replicate the demonstration haircut of their choice. Each member grabbed the challenge with both hands, taking all the information on board and impressing Richard and Joseph with how much they had learnt. Joseph said,

The team did a fantastic job, it’s great knowing that we have taught them something new and they definitely got a brief understanding for the Sebastian Professional way.

ClubStar Art Team member Elaine Sneddon says,

Another great day with the team! Our day with Richard and Joseph was really interesting and I now have the skills to create a totally different type of textured look in the salon on my clients, which is a great asset to my career. I feel like what I’ve learnt will also look amazing in any future photographic work!
