The Most Instagrammable Salon!

Welcome to The Greene Room - one of the most Instagrammable salons we have ever seen. Here salon owners, Shaun Moriarty and Orla Greene guide us through their incredible salon and the inspiration behind its high-fashion style.

So when we were sitting down last year to plan the opening of our second salon in Nenagh, we had envisioned remaining in our old salon building and renovating it to ensure that the same standard of interiors in Nenagh matched in Killaloe. Fast forward a couple of months and an opportunity arose to take our new building on Kevin Parade, beside Ponte Vechico and Satmya.

Set over three floors in the beautiful picturesque village of Killaloe, we have the most beautiful original stone work building from which to sell our wares and services. We now have a full window to utilise and showcase our retail selection; all while you wait for the traffic lights to change at the bridge. This building is deceptively large. When you enter, you are greeted at our gorgeous gold reception desk with a blue lattice screen behind it. You will then be brought to our waiting area to sit in our luxurious armchairs while we bring you your stylist who will look after you throughout your appointment.

All in all on our ground floor we have three cutting stations in the round, three make-up stations, a secluded basin room, a large waiting area, a dedicated reception desk and retail wall space.

Upstairs, all of our basins are secluded in some way – so upstairs we have a lattice screen behind which we have two basins which each have a hydraulic leg rest so you can put your feet up while getting your hair truly treated at the basin! We felt this was important for our clients to enjoy and relax in comfort while there. In addition we have a further eight cutting stations and a private room for our Wig & Scalp Analysis Clinic. Surrounded on all sides are plants and trees of every kind to enhance the atmosphere of our beautiful salon.

All in all we are thrilled with how our salon looks and feels! We cannot wait to welcome you into our Killaloe salon, which now has a Five Star rating with Good Salon Guide!
