The Potting ShedÕs Sam Pearce voted Mumpreneur

Award-winning spa owner Sam Pearce has been shortlisted for The Inspirational Business Mum 2012 award as part of the The Mumpreneur Awards.

The awards celebrate parents in the UK who manage juggling a business with family life. The Eastthorpe Hall and Potting Shed spa owner is also a finalist for the Best Start-up Award, which is opened to businesses that have launched since April 2011.

Pearce will be on Professional Beauty editor Eve Oxberry’s panel as part of the New Trends Conference at Professional Beauty North. The panel will discuss how to create the wow factor for competitive advantage in your salon or spa at 10.30am on Sunday October 14. Other panel members include Sara Shoemark, owner of the Glow group of salons, Beverley Bayes, director of architecture and design specialist Sparc Studio, and Henrietta Flynn, managing director of the inspirational MW Nails salons.
