After the success of hit reality show Sky 1's Pineapple Dance Studios, Louie Spence returned to the small screen in the sensational new programme – Louie Spence's Showbusiness – with HOB Salons' hair expertise called upon for the breathtaking final performance at Wimbledon theatre earlier this month.

The 10-week series, airing on Wednesdays at 9pm on Sky 1, culminates with a big theatre production, which saw 24 dancers requiring styling from the award-winning HOB team.  Styling the hair for the Pineapple Dance Group ahead of their live performance that evening, HOB’s five-man team was headed up by Creative Team members Andrea Martinelli and Stan Newton (Camden) with HOB Session Team members Montre Alleyn (Mill Hill), Georgia Merritt (St Albans) and Sophie Sugarman (Radlett) assisting in creating the various looks required, from classic 30s styling to eccentric 80s finishes.

Set to air on Sky 1 on 14th March, the finale show sees the male dancers sporting simple, clean looks, working with light texture and movement, whilst the ladies opened with 30s looks inspired from the hit musical Chicago, working with soft finger waves.  Smoothing the hair out to create a gentle 70s wave gave way to a second 'do, whilst the final look was an 80s interpretation as the girls went rock and roll with big, backcombed hair and textured volume as the team focused on shape and height - the perfect finale for the show-stopping closing dance!

With the finale of Louie Spence's Showbusiness set to air on Sky 1 on 14th March, Andrea Martinelli said, "The product this evening was very time pressured with so many looks to create and turn around quickly but it all went ok.  It is great to give the younger members in our session team the chance to do this kind of show and we look forward to seeing the final results on Sky 1 next month!"
