Tikadi stylist Hannah Skinner wins place in Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team 2011

Local hairdressing rising star Hannah Skinner, 22, who lives locally at Walthamstow and has worked at Tikadi Theydon Bois for four years, competed and was successfully placed as one of the new 2011 Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team.

A massive 40 finalists took part in the prestigious Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team.  The competition was held on Sunday 16th January where the finalists were chosen from hundreds of applications.  Hannah will benefit from specialist training and photographic shoots, as well as mentoring from top industry names.  She commented, "I'm so excited; it's a fantastic opportunity and I will make sure I use every minute."  Hannah will also be traveling all over the UK as a representative of Schwarzkopf, however, "I love hairdressing and I really enjoy seeing my clients in the salon" Hannah explained, so we know she'll be in the salon to keep everyone looking good and feeling great!

Schwarzkopf Professional runs the competition every year to find the best new talent in hairdressing.  Tikadi has two locations for its salons - in Theydon Bois and recently opened Ongar.  The salon recently hit headlines with news of their rewards for exceptional fundraising for Great Ormond Street’s HAIRraising campaign.
