Topshop: Lock-In Style

After a busy month styling both London and Milan Fashion Weeks, you’d think it’d be time to slow down, but not at SWH.

September was fashion shows galore, and no sooner had October arrived than SWH Team were out and about again. This time, it was for Topshop and Topman…

The new flagship Topman/shop store opened at Churchill Square on October 2nd, to queues of eagerly awaiting shoppers and fashionistas alike. The store was also launching their new Personal Shopping service, with the staff working long hours to get everything in place for the opening.

They’d been working so hard in fact, that Topshop contacted the SWH Team and asked them to style the hair of the staff members working on opening day, as a thank you treat.

Following on from launch day, the store opened for a student lock-in on the evening of the 8th October, and once again the SWH Team was invited to participate.

Our pop-up blow-dry and barbering bar was positioned right at the front of the store, and for four hours we styled the hoards of students that were queuing for our stand. There were so many, we had to close the queue to make sure we were finished by 10.30pm!

The event was a huge success and we’ll be popping up in Topshop and Topman again soon, so keep your eyes peeled for notices nearer the time.
