Village Salon Reaches UK & Ireland Grand Finals

Village salon, Hairlounge47 put Essex on the UK and Ireland fashion map when their talented stylist, Emily Worboys reached the finals of the Wella TrendVision Award 2019.

The Awards are one of the most hotly contested hair competitions in the world, as every year thousands of hairdressers up their game to showcase their creative prowess. The competition was fierce with a whole host of talent from the biggest salons in the UK and Ireland. Director, Wasif Khan said,

We are incredibly proud to have reached the Grand Finals which shows how passion, hard work and self-belief can make the impossible possible. We hope our achievement can be the stepping stone for future success in national and international hair competitions.

The dazzling show took place at the Roundhouse in London and was hosted by Vernon Kay and Patrick Cameron. In attendance were hairdressing icons Errol Douglas, Nicky Clarke, Robert Eaton, and a host of celebrities. The audience were treated to seeing some of the best showcasing artists including D&J Ambrose, HOB Academy and the Wella Hair Education team. Emily Worboys, stylist at Hairlounge47, said,

I feel truly honoured to have reached the UK and Ireland Finals. Having the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading hairdressing icons has inspired me immensely and I am now looking forward to Wella Trendvision 2020.
