Viva Hair Wins Exeter Hair & Beauty Award

Viva Hair Salon has won the Hair and Beauty category at the 2017 Exeter Living Awards on Thursday 6th April 2017 - held at the Exeter University Great Hall.

This was a monumental achievement considering the outstanding competition they faced. Shortlisted in this category were Elk Salon, Energy Hair, Purity Boutique and Spa, Wear Park Spa and of course the eventual winner, Viva Hair.

An ecstatic Emma Jane Lineham, the owner of Viva Hair, was quoted as saying,

We did it; we won the Exeter Living Hair & Beauty Award. This was such a strong category and we came out on top! I love my Job and could not imagine doing anything else. When I turn the key to open the salon each morning, I still get the same sense of excitement as I did on the very first day. We would like to thank all the local businesses for their ongoing support, without our amazing committed staff and loyal customers this would not have been possible. Last, but defiantly not least, I would like to give a huge shout out to all independent businesses in Exeter, especially the ones on Fore Street. Roll on Next Year!!!

Viva Hair was established five years ago and with its passion for hair and customer service, keeping up with the latest styles, trends, techniques and colouring has led them to gain five stars from the Good Salon Guide, the only salon in Exeter to achieve this.

November 2016 was their fifth anniversary and the smiles keep growing for both customers and staff. It’s a place people love to come and visit where a friendly welcome always awaits, and there are many comments on Facebook to confirm this, which shows how much people love the feel of Viva Hair as well as the services they provide. At Viva, the continuous aim is to ensure they stay a friendly, approachable salon where customers can relax, be listened to and feel great about themselves.

A smiling customer is the tip of the iceberg – a huge amount of work underpins that aim. This includes a strong emphasis on excellent quality and continuous training for all our employees, from young trainees to experienced hairstylists, support for their own personal development and research into how we can improve our services to make us stand out.
