WalesÕ Finest Hairdressing Competition Winner Announced

Hairdressers, barbers and beauticians of all abilities have gone head-to-head in this year’s Wales’ Finest open hairdressing and beauty championships, which took place on June 14th at Y PLAS, Cardiff.

Organised by the National Hairdressers Federation (NHF) Welsh Region, the competition has 13 categories including Welsh Newcomer, Afro Consumer Fashion Look and Bridal Make-up.

Marcus Feely from Spirit Hair Team was named the winner in the Welsh Fashion Junior Barber category. NHF president, Paul Curry said,

I’d like to thank all the winners, runners-up, competitors and supporters for taking part. The competition was intense and the skill and creativity on show from all the competitors was outstanding. My congratulations go out to all this year’s winners.

Marcus Feely said,

It was such a big achievement coming second in my blow-dry and first in my cut, but to win Junior Welsh Champion Barber 2015 was a breath taking moment and I will be looking forward to competing again next year.
