Wales Hair & Beauty Show Moves to a New Venue for 2016

The Wales Hair and Beauty Show, which is celebrating its fifth year, will be hosted in the brand new Cardiff and Vale City Centre campus on Sunday 8th May 2016.

The only hair and beauty exhibition in Wales has grown from strength to strength and showcases the hair, beauty and well-being industry in Wales and the South West - attracting visitors from throughout Wales, South West England and surrounding areas.

The new venue, which is based in the city centre, offers state-of-the-art facilities to host the show going forward including an exhibition hall, competition salons, a demonstration theatre and seminar rooms all on the ground floor with free car parking facilities.

Michael Quinn, show organiser, said,

I am delighted to partner with the Cardiff & Vale College and feel the new venue with its state-of-the-art facilities offers us a great venue for the show going forward in a city centre location. I look forward to working with the hair and beauty college team to offer a showcase for the hair and beauty industry in Wales each year.

Ceri Evans, Head of the Hair and Beauty Department at Cardiff & Vale College, said,

We are excited to be partnering with the Wales Hair and Beauty Show and hosting the show. We are looking forward to helping make the show a huge success going forward.

The show this year will be hosted on the ground floor and includes:

  • Space for 50 plus exhibitor stands for hairdressing, nails and beauty
  • A new ‘Holistic and Well-Being Zone’
  • New area for hair, beauty, nails and make-up competitions
  • Product demonstration stage and theatre
  • Business and marketing seminar rooms
  • Networking area with café

As the venue is located in the heart of the city centre and just a five minute walk from Cardiff city centre train and bus stations, this will offer those coming from further away the opportunity to combine the show with a leisure or shopping trip. Tickets will go on sale on 1st Feb 2016 and will be £5 for professionals and £3 for students.
