The Salford-born actress enlisted Oliver's expertises after completing a gruelling journey along the Zambezi River for Comic Relief. Healey took part in the challenge with six other celebrities, including Mel C, Dara O'Briain and Jack Dee. The group covered 68 miles of the African waterway to raise funds for charity.
Oliver advised Healy to choose hair extensions from Wonderful Hair, the only extensions that can be bonded using ultra sound without the need for heat and hot glue, to aid her follic rejuvenation after her time under the African sun, and introduced her to stylist Laurel Warmington at his Oldham Street salon. Nicky Oliver stated,
This will give her hair the fullness, life and added body it needs. It will put back the volume Chelsee wants.
Healy is best known for playing Janeece Bryant in Waterloo Road, but has since left the series. She also appeared in season nine of Strictly Come Dancing, finishing the series as runner-up. Chelsee said,
I absolutely adored my time in Strictly. The music, the dancing, the costumes and the support of the audiences made it so special.
The 24-year-old went on to express her enthusiasm about her new hair by saying,
I absolutely love it!
