Wig Advice and Customisation at John Olivers The Retreat

Share

Recognising the importance of feeling and looking good is John Olivers’ Steve Croft, who offers a special service for his clients suffering with medical hair loss - offering advice and wig customisation.

Every Tuesday evening Steve spends his time with women suffering from hair loss through illness. Steve believes in utilising his hairdressing skills to give these women something truly meaningful and to help them gain some extra confidence.

Hailed as a ‘Suffolk Hero’, Steve has previously won ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in Suffolk County Council’s Glittering Stars of Suffolk awards ceremony - an event that celebrates and recognises the extraordinary actions of a range of ordinary people living in Suffolk.

Steve Croft, co-owner of John Olivers Hairdressing Group which has four salons across Suffolk, was nominated for his work with victims of cancer who have suffered hair loss. After an initial referral from Cancer Campaign, a Suffolk cancer advisory charity, and more recently from personal recommendations, Steve offers free advice and consultations.

Steve’s selfless contribution to his clientele has made scores of people feel more confident about their image, whilst coping with the uncertainty of their illness.
