Design duo, Kolchagov Barba, took the fashion world to new heights during London Fashion Week as they showcased their 2019 Autumn/Winter collection, ALLURE.
The statement dresses, including the eye-catching gold dress designed for Kylie Minogue’s Golden Tour and created with 120,000 Preciosa crystals, were on display in the atrium bar of Aqua Shard, located on the 31st floor of the Shard. A private cocktail party was held on Sunday 17th February to celebrate the designers work, followed by a weeklong installation entitled #Fashioninthesky.
To accompany the installation, each piece had been photographed to create a stunning collection of images, styled using Indola haircare products and Pierre Rene Professional Makeup. The final results will appear in Elle magazine later this year.
To create the look, Indola UK Ambassador, Andrew Minarik applied a trio of products – Indola’s Thermal Setting Spray, Setting Curl Crème and finished with their Gold Shimmer Spray. Each look was designed to work alongside the dresses, allowing the couture pieces to take centre stage.
This is the third time that Kolchagov Barba has partnered with Indola and Pierre Rene Professional Makeup to create collections for London Fashion Week.
Speaking of the event, Andrew Minarik said,
By choosing to keep the hair styling incredibly simple, and by using only a trio of products, I was able bring out the models own natural beauty. I wanted to compliment the absolutely incredible dresses designed by Kolchagov Barba and not compete by introducing hair accessories, weaves or wigs. Indola products are the perfect choice for any stylist, as they provide a pared down catalogue of products that work perfectly every time.
