ANTI X Paula Knorr

Share

For the Paul Knorr SS20 show, the hair was created to feel effortless, cool and understated in contrast to the dramatic and statement makeup.

Natural textures were the focus, with hair accessories as an added detail. However these aren't your average hair slides; the bespoke clips were placed at random, “as if the girl was in a cab, found an accessory in her bag, and placed it in at random without a mirror,” says lead stylist, Nick Irwin. The result was ‘slipped slides’, placed unexpectedly and at random through the lengths and back of the hair for a nonchalant, care-free finish.

Nick’s hair look was the perfect complement to the collection’s relaxed, bohemian take on holiday glamour. Hair accessories were created in collaboration with Berlin fair trade jewellery designer, WALD.

Get the look:

  • Each model’s natural hair texture was the focus, with a little ANTI Everything Spray or Finishing Cream used to ‘lock in’ the natural texture, enhance movement and add a little weightless control.
  • For those with very straight or fine hair, tongs were used to create a gentle, barely-there kick.
  • Hair clips were added visually in the final line-up, placed at random and in different spot on each model.
