The top knot!
Teens love it: It is a really great style at any time of the year and it can look as if you just threw it together!
Mum loves it: It is practical and keeps hair out of the way.
Fringe fixers
Teens Love it: Seen on the catwalks for the last two seasons - it’s cool to hide your outgrowing fringe.
Mum loves it: It is neat and stops her flicking hair out of her eyes all day!
Pony and pigtails
Teens love it: Celebrity favourite styles that aren’t too neat and tidy.
Mums love it: Reminds them of when they were 7!
Back to School top tips
Time to remove that hair chalk!
Okay mums, we know that the hair chalk trend that your teen loved over the summer isn’t suitable for school – and you may have found that it isn’t quite as easy to remove as you thought! A quick trip to the hairdresser for a ‘lightening bath’ followed by a Clynol brilliance semi-colour in your teen’s natural colour and voilà - school suitable colour.
Get into tip top condition
Girls your mum is right, well conditioned hair is WAY easier to style, so for once listen to your mum and invest in a really good hair treatment like the new Clynol Kera Rebuild.
Top hair tool for tangles
Okay, so you need to do a bit of backcombing to create your favourite styles, but invest in a great brush for detangling. Try a Tangle Teaser, or for a professional alternative ask for a Mason & Pearson bristle brush – all the top sessionistas use them and Mum will love it too!
